I would like to start with…..
Happy World Heart Day!
Keep your heart healthy and body fit. It’s the top most priority above everything in today’s life.
According to World Health Organisation (WHO), over 31% yearly global deaths account to cardiovascular diseases, out of which one-third are premature ones (deaths below 70 years of age). WHO also developed targets to control and prevent non-communicable diseases in the year 2013. Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) hold a big share in non communicable diseases. The target is to have the relative reduction of 25% in overall mortality by CVDs by 2025.

Amidst the fast and scheduled life, we often forget the most essential basis of us, our battery ie our body. Its care and well-being comes at later numbers in the list of things to do, knowingly or unknowingly. We very easily say that there is no time for any kind of excercise, healthy food or taking good sleep.
Why is it so? Why do we keep our powerhouse, source of energy at last? Why most of us never plan or think as per the well-being of our body? It’s because we have developed a habit of ignoring ourselves. We take ourselves for granted. Taking care of ourselves, doesn’t mean we dedicate whole of the day for it. But surely we may take out at least one hour time for it. We when take no care, are just exploiting our body. Exploitation has an end and that’s the day our body says to us, “that’s it, I am done being a slave, no more help from now”. And then we realise, have we taken some care, a little, things, wouldn’t have gone this way.
Thus, it’s a very humble request to please take out few moments off your busy and hectic lives for yourself.
Because it’s your body that’s why it’s you, the healthy is your body, the best is your performance and work. The age old proverb still holds true:
Health is wealth.
